Champaign, Ill. – The Blue Raiders competed in the final day of Illini Invite on Sunday at the Atkins Tennis Center. Middle Tennessee was joined by Arizona State, Illinois and Tennessee in a hidden dual format, no team score was recorded over the weekend.
Middle Tennessee picked up four singles victories for the second day in a row. Nationally-ranked Francisco Rocha made trounced Guzauskas of Illinois in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. Oskar Brostrom Poulsen won back-to-back matches to close the invitational. Brostrom Poulsen jumped out to quick lead in the second set and eventually finished off Nic Meister, 7-6(5).
