MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis opens up the home schedule undefeated by taking down Tennessee State on Saturday at the Adams Tennis Complex, 6-1.
The Raiders continue the dominance over the Tigers, winning the 16th-straight victory over TSU. Only allowing six total points.
Looking to start the first home match of the season with a perfect record, the Raiders came out strong in doubles play quickly, clinching the doubles point over the Tigers with and dominating, 6-0, followed by and securing the point for the Blue Raiders with a 6-1 victory.
Maintaining its successful start, the Blue Raiders extended its lead to 2-0 with junior earning a swift straight-set victory over TSU's Mackenzie Beckham, 6-0, 6-0.
