MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – No stranger to awards, Middle Tennessee senior forward Peyton DePriest was named to the 2021 Preseason All-Conference Team and Middle Tennessee Soccer was picked to finish fifth in the C-USA East, announced by the league office Thursday.
A super senior from Franklin, Tennessee, DePriest is the current NCAA D-I leader for career goals scored with 46. Throughout her four-year career, DePriest has been named C-USA Player of the Year (2019), two-time Offensive Player of the Year (2019 & 2018), and Freshman of the Year (2017). DePriest has also permanently etched her legacy into the Middle Tennessee record books as the current program leader in goals scored for their career and is currently two goals shy from breaking the conference record to become the C-USA's all-time leading scorer over the league's 26-year history.
