DALLAS, Texas — Peyton DePriest of the Middle Tennessee soccer program has been named the Conference USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, the league office announced Tuesday.
DePriest returns for her senior season with the Blue Raiders as the reigning C-USA's Player of the Year and two-time C-USA Offensive Player of the Year. Nationally, DePriest is ranked second in active career goals with 42 in 46 games. She led the league overall in goals scored (18), goals per game (1.12), points per game (2.38) and shots per game (4.28) in 2019.
The first-team All-Conference USA choice ranked second in points (38), despite missing three matches due to injury.
