MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Atlanta Braves took senior shortstop Riley Delgado in the 9th round with the 260th pick in the MLB Draft Tuesday afternoon.
Delgado is the 5th Blue Raider all-time to be selected by the Atlanta Braves organization and the highest MT player to be drafted by the Braves.
Delgado is the first Blue Raider to be selected in the Top 10 rounds of the MLB Draft since 2015 when Ronnie Jebavy was picked in the 5th round by the San Francisco Giants.
