EUGENE, Ore. — In the final day of competition, Elizabeth Dadzie concluded her Blue Raider career with a strong finish in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Entering the day in 16th, Dadzie 5,268 points for a 14th-place finish in the combined events.
The Ghana native propelled up the leader board in the first event of the day, when Dadzie tallied 899 points and placed third with a leap of 6.16 meters in the long jump.
Dadzie followed with a toss of 36.64 meters in the javelin, and concluded the day with a time of 2:35 in the 800-meter run.
