MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After a sensational finish to the outdoor season, Middle Tennessee's Elizabeth Dadzie has been named Conference USA's Female Field Athlete of the Year, the league office announced Friday afternoon.
Dadzie capped her final outdoor season with the Blue Raiders being named Second Team All-American at the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon after a 14th place finish in Eugene last week.
The Ghana native excelled at the C-USA Outdoor Championships in El Paso, as she was voted the Female Performer of the Meet. Dadzie finished the conference meet as the High Point Scorer of the Meet with total 34 points.
