DENTON, Texas – Middle Tennessee utilized a balanced scoring attack and one of its stingiest defensive efforts of the season to dispose of North Texas, 76-52, at the Super Pit Thursday.
While the Blue Raiders (10-7, 4-2) controlled the game throughout the first half, it was a sensational third-quarter run that sealed North Texas' fate. Middle Tennessee led by seven early in the third quarter when it used a 12-0 run over a 3:20 span to extend the advantage and break the game open.
Four Blue Raiders scored double figures, led by senior guard ' 17 points and a team-best eight rebounds.
