EUGENE, Ore. — Freshman Jacob Choge wrapped up his sensational rookie campaign, while senior Elizabeth Dadzie built momentum in the heptathlon in day three action from the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Two days after competing in his first NCAA Championship race, Choge returned to the track and clocked a time of 14:55.95 in the men's 5000-meter run.
The Kenya native capped his first year as a Blue Raider with a pair of All-American honors to go along with his Conference USA Freshman of the Year accolades.
Dadzie began the multi events Friday and grabbed a pair of top 10 finishes in the 100-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash to complete day one of the combined events in 16th place.
