MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Four Blue Raiders ran in the much-anticipated Raleigh Relays on Thursday, March 24, and Friday, March 25 hosted by North Carolina State in Raleigh, N.C.
Eusila Chepkemei was back in action for her first meet of the outdoor season and didn't skip a beat from her First Team All-American indoor season. Chepkemei took first place in heat seven of the women's 5000m with a program-record time of 15:57.61. Overall, she took ninth place in the field of 151 runners and took seventh among collegiate athletes. Her new time is going to rank in the top 10 in the nation after the weekend and first in Conference USA.
