DALLAS – The Conference USA office announced on Wednesday that Eusila Chepkemei was named Track Performer of the Meet and Esther Isa was named Field Performer of the Meet for their Women's C-USA Championship performances.
Eusila Chepkemei had an out-of-this-world weekend in Birmingham. On day one, Chepkemei helped lead MT to a DMR program-record finish with a team time of 11:30.59. Their gold-medal performance was 6.5 seconds faster than the previous record.
On day two, Chepkemei became the first female in Conference USA history to sweep the 800-meter, mile, and 3000-meter.
