MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Five Blue Raiders represented Middle Tennessee at the Camel City Invitational this past weekend.
Kigen Chemadi inked a personal-best in the men's 3,000-meter event to notch a new school record. The Kenya native recorded a sixth place finish with a time of 7:58.42 to improve upon his previous best of 7:58.46 at the Commodore Invitational earlier this season.
After his most recent performance, Chemadi ranks thirteenth nationally and first in conference action in the 3,000-meter race.
Likewise, Jacob Choge (8:15.57) and Geoffry Cheruiyot (8:40.96) also competed in the 3,000-meter event to ink a twelfth and fourteenth place finish.
