MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – As is usually the case, more than bragging rights will be at stake when the 100 Miles of Hate rivalry is renewed on the gridiron this week.
One team will be fighting to keep pace in the Conference USA East Division title race, while the other is still looking for its first league win and a turnaround to what's been a tough season.
Rivals WKU (1-7, 0-4) and Middle Tennessee (5-3, 4-1) are separated by about an hour and 45 minutes driving, a short jog for the Blue Raiders from Murfreesboro up Interstates 24 and 65 to Bowling Green, Kentucky.
