MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — With the regular season in the rear view, eight Conference USA softball teams will meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky next week for the C-USA Championship, which will begin with a matchup between Middle Tennessee and UTSA.
The Blue Raiders are the five-seed in this year's tournament after finishing the regular season with an overall record of 26-21 and an 11-8 mark in league play. They'll play the eight-seed Roadrunners, who finished at 14-30, 8-12 against C-USA teams. First pitch is slated for Wednesday at 12 p.m. CT on Western Kentucky's campus.
Due to COVID-19, Conference USA determined in the preseason that its teams would play only against their division in the regular season.
