MURFREESBORO, TN – Middle Tennessee finished the preseason Friday night, falling 4-1 in an exhibition match against the Lipscomb Bison.
After a tightly contested first half the Blue Raiders were tied 1-1. However, three second half goals by the Bison gave them a 4-1 win in the first match of the year at Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium.
It was clear that tonight's match was an exhibition as manager Ashton Rhoden made a number of substitutions. It was the perfect opportunity to see the depth that this team offers and work out the last issues before the Blue Raiders open up their season next week.
