ST. GEORGE, Utah – Middle Tennessee kept its foot on the gas in Sunday's third round of the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course. The Blue Raiders won the team title with a 54-hole score of 826 (-38), while Kevin Jegers won the individual title and set a program record with a score of 201 (-15).
Jegers carded eight birdies and 12 pars to finish the round at 64 (-8), coming one stroke shy of the program record for the lowest single round. His 20 birdies in the tournament led the field, with the next-closest competitors recording 15 each.
