MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's soccer team (3-3-0) looks to complete its two-match road stretch unbeaten, as the Blue Raiders take on the Vanderbilt Commodores (3-0-2) in Nashville, Tenn. on Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex.
History vs. Vanderbilt
The Blue Raiders are 1-7 against the Commodores a in program history. The in-state rivalry was renewed last season in a neutral site match at GEODIS Park, which resulted in a 6-0 win for the black and gold.
MTSU's lone win over Vanderbilt came during the 2021 season in the form of a 2-1 win on the road in Nashville on the back of a Peyton DePreist brace and winner in the 87th minute.
