MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee kicked off the program's 50 season in impressive fashion as they swept Austin Peay and Chattanooga at the Adams Tennis Complex on Wednesday. In total, the Blue Raiders won four doubles matches and 12 singles matches on the day in two victories.
In the first match against Austin Peay, MT clinched the doubles point with wins from / and /. /Gonzalo Morell Raschiatore were leading their match 5-3, but did not finish. The Blue Raiders proceeded to win every singles match in straight sets to cap off the 7-0 victory.
The nightcap went similar to the first game, with MT winning the doubles point behind winning efforts from / and Motl/Morell.
