MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee volleyball pulled off the sweep vs. Austin Peay to extend their winning streak for two games. The Blue Raiders got better with each set as the match went on, winning the sets 25-23, 25-19, and finally 25-15 to cap off the win. The home crowd was electric at the Alumni Memorial Gym with Family Day and Special Olympics Day taking place.
MTSU (2-3, 0-0) had their highest hitting percentage of the season with an outstanding .369 hitting percentage. Austin Peay (1-5, 0-0) recorded a .000 hitting percentage because they had as many kills as they did hitting errors.
