MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's golf starts its spring season this weekend at a unique event in the world of golf, the Florida State Match-Up. Held at Seminole Legacy Golf Club, FSU's on-campus course, the tournament pairs teams together to compete as partners while also competing in a traditional tournament format.
The field at this year's Florida State Match-Up features No. 3 Oregon, No. 16 Florida State, No. 20 Arizona, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, Kent State, Mercer, Miami, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri, Oregon State, and Virginia Tech. The Match-Up portion of the tournament will be determined by taking the best four scores from the partners (out of ten players in the two lineups) and the worst score to make the Match Up team total.
