MURFREESBORO, Tenn. –Middle Tennessee's (12-6, 1-1 CUSA) women's tennis squad is starting to gain traction just at the right time. With more Conference USA opponents looming on the schedule, the Blue Raiders started a three-match home swing that will continue throughout the rest of the week with a 4-0 win over the St. Thomas Tommies (6-9, 1-2 SUMMIT). The win marks four wins in MTSU's last five matches.
Playing with two doubles pairings we've yet to see this year, the Blue Raiders took the doubles point by sweeping on all courts. Eloise Swarbrick and Sara Conde, as well as Rutuja Chaphalkar and Lena Peyer, both won in their first time playing together this season.
