VESTAL, N.Y. – After dropping game one 6-4, Middle Tennessee bounced back with a 4-2 win in game two to take the series over Binghamton on Saturday afternoon at the Bearcats Baseball Complex.
Game One
The Blue Raiders (16-30, 5-13 CUSA) struck first, plating a run in the opening frame thanks to a Trace Phillips RBI single up the middle. The Bearcats (18-24, 7-11 AEC) responded in the bottom of the third inning with an offensive outburst, plating six runs to take a 6-1 lead.
MTSU would add a pair of runs in the sixth inning on a Jackson Galloway two-run home run and a run in the seventh on an Eston Snider RBI single, but Binghamton would go on to take game one of the twin bill 6-4 in seven innings.
