STARKVILLE, Miss. – Middle Tennessee softball split their doubleheader with Pearl River Community College and Mississippi State on Saturday at Nusz Park to wrap up the fall exhibition schedule.
Game 1 vs. Pearl River Community College
In the top of the first inning, the Blue Raiders were able to strike first after a pair of walks for Amaya Harris and Shelby Sargent. Ansley Blevins drove in Harris with an RBI single, and Sargent came across on a first-and-third play giving MTSU the 2-0 lead. The Wildcats answered to tie the game at two runs a piece after the first frame.
