MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A couple of days of rest and relaxation has Middle Tennessee itching to get back on the gridiron.
The Blue Raiders (1-2) got a chance to take a breath for a few days during their first bye week ahead of their first trip to Iowa City, Iowa to take on the No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes (3-0). The game is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff Saturday.
"Obviously, Iowa is a very talented team, and they're very well-coached," Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill said. "I have a lot of respect for them and their program … it's a good football team.
