MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee baseball team made quick work of UAB on Saturday, run-ruling the Blazers 17-7 in just seven innings. The Blue Raider's (20-17-1, C-USA 9-9-1) 17 runs were the most this season and six runs more than their previous season high from earlier this season when they hung 11 runs on UAB (13-26, C-USA 13) earlier this season in Birmingham.
"Any time you can win in Conference USA it's a good day," said Head Coach Jim Toman. "The hitters were just locked in today… We probably scored more runs today than we have in a month, maybe that's a sign of things to come.
