MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Saturday's game between Middle Tennessee Baseball and St. Bonaventure was delayed from a scheduled noon start to 4 p.m. due to wet conditions, but little else slowed the Blue Raider offense down in a 17-1 win over the Bonnies at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
RHP Eriq Swan was efficient in his six-frame outing for his first win of the season as the Raiders cruised to runs in all but one inning after the second to move to 5-2 on the season.
Offensively, DJ Wright's three-run home run in the fifth highlighted the Blue Raider bat barrage, and the first baseman would tack on a two-run double in the eighth to finish with five RBI.
