MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders traveled west to face in-state foe No. 44 Memphis, earning a 4-3 victory.
It was a tight battle in doubles play to determine the early lead. The Blue Raiders' duo of Igor Mandou Berranger and Shu Matsuoka secured the day's first win, defeating Memphis' Alejandro Vizoso and Luis Sandoval Carvalho 6-4. The Tigers won on Court 1, leaving the doubles point to be decided on Court 2.
Rostislav Halfinger and Jakub Kroslak fought hard for Middle Tennessee after falling behind early but forced a seven-point tiebreaker against Sam Reeve and Harry Rock.
