Blue Raiders prepare for test at Tennessee Relays

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For the second time in three weeks, Middle Tennessee will travel to Knoxville as the Blue Raiders are set to compete in the 50th edition of the Tennessee Relays.

The Blue Raiders will join 16 other schools in Rocky Top, including eight nationally ranked teams.

Action from the newly refurbished Tom Black Track gets underway Thursday morning at 10 a.m. with the men's and women's multi events.

School record holders Elizabeth Dadzie and Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad kick off the meet for the Blue Raiders in the women's heptathlon Thursday. Dadzie set MT's record in the heptathlon last outdoor season with 5,599 points, while Abdullah-Muhammad is seeking to continue her success in the multi events following a record-breaking indoor season with 3,770 points at the C-USA Indoor Championships.
