TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama (16-2) used a two out, two RBI single in the sixth inning to pull ahead of the Blue Raiders (5-11) on their way to a 2-0 victory.
The Crimson Tide came into the game riding an 11-game winning streak but the Blue Raiders gave them their best shot.
Five different Blue Raider pitchers combined to hold Alabama to six hits. Drew Huff earned the start, going two innings and striking out five Crimson Tide hitters. Left-hander David Zoz relieved Huff in the third inning, going two strong innings.
