MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Even though the Middle Tennessee baseball season was abruptly halted due to Covid-19 there were ample positives on which the team can build for the 2021 season.
The Blue Raiders were able to play 17 games and with a revamped roster that featured 26 newcomers it was important for second-year Head Coach Jim Toman to have an opportunity to evaluate players in actual games.
Those 17 games also came against the nation's sixth-ranked schedule and the new-look Blue Raiders certainly didn't back down as their RPI was 48th nationally when the season was canceled.
