MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis welcomed No. 69 Liberty on Friday, April 5 at the Outdoor Tennis Complex. MTSU dropped the match 4-0 to the Flames.
This was Head Coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall's first match back from maternity leave.
The Flames took the doubles point with wins on court No. 2 and No. 1.
In singles, Liberty picked up victories on court No. 5, No. 3 and No. 4. On court No. 1, Sana Garakani was beginning the third set after splitting the first two sets. Ilaria Sposetti battled back and won 6-1 in the second set but finished unfinished.
