MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee fell to Binghamton 14-3 in the series finale on Saturday afternoon at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
On the mound, Chandler Alderman, went five innings, striking out three batters for the Blue Raiders (10-16, 2-4 Conference USA) in his first appearance since throwing a no-hitter on March 23 against Liberty.
MTSU quickly grabbed a 2-0 lead after Gabe Jennings hit a towering two-run shot to left field in the first inning. After four scoreless innings, each team added a run in the fifth. The Blue Raiders' run came off the bat of Grant Snider – his first career home run.
