MONTGOMERY, Ala. — No. 27-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis opened up play in the first round of the Blue Gray Championships facing No. 48-ranked Auburn on Friday, Feb. 24 in Montgomery, Ala. MTSU's battle against the Tiger fell short 2-4 in the first round but bounce back to win doubles against Boise State.
The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point with victories on court No. 1 and No. 3. Ondrej Horak and Leo Raquin handled business on court No. 1 winning 6-1 over Dobai and Murgett. On court No. 3, Karim Al-Amin and Marcel Kamrowski secured the doubles point for MTSU with a 7-5 victory against Stice and Nolan.
