MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Baseball fell behind early and was unable to dig out of a hole, as it fell to the LA Tech Bulldogs 18-8 Friday night at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
The Blue Raiders now stand at 21-20 overall, with a 10-9 mark in Conference USA play.
LA Tech struck first with a run in the top of the first. The Raiders answered in the home half of the inning, when DH Jeremiah Boyd doubled in SS Brett Coker with two outs. But the visitors would subsequently tally a run in the second to retake the lead for good, before putting up four an inning later to make it 6-1.
