ATLANTA, Ga. — In the first outdoor meet of the season, the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders enjoyed a balanced day in the field and on the track at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech.
Janet Amponsah took home the lone gold for the Blue Raiders in the women's 100-meter dash, sprinting a 11.55.
Elizabeth Dadzie provided the balanced day by placing third in the women's long jump as well as taking bronze in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Dadzie started the meet with a leap of 19-08.00 in the long jump, before transferring that success by clocking a 13.
