CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee (8-16) found trouble scoring runs Tuesday night in Clarksville, losing the midweek matchup to Austin Peay (12-10) by a score of 10-3.
"We went from Saturday having our best game of the year, to three days later having our worst game of the year," Head coach Jim Toman said. "We're a little beat up and tired and this game caught up to us."
Austin Peay gained an early lead, scoring three runs in each of the first two innings. Only three of those runs were earned however as the Blue Raiders committed three errors in the first inning.
