MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee Baseball's bats were kept in check on Sunday at Reese Smith Jr. Field, as MTSU dropped the final game of their final home series, 6-2, to UAB.
The Blue Raiders (25-24, 14-13 C-USA) only recorded a hit in three of their innings at bat, going three-up-three down five separate times against the Blazers (16-34, 7-20 C-USA). DJ Wright's double into the right-center field gap in the bottom of the second was MTSU's only offense on the afternoon, plating both Jeremiah Boyd and Gabe Jennings.
