MONTGOMERY, Ala. — No. 26-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis completed play at the Blue Gray Championships on Saturday, Feb. 24 in Montgomery, Ala. MTSU tallied a 4-2 win over No. 49 Boise State and swept former Conference USA foe Rice 4-0.
The Blue Raiders won the doubles point against the Broncos on Friday.
On court No. 1, No. 33 Leo Raquin defeated No. 43 Sam Sippel 7-6, 7-6. Freshman Jakub Kroslak earned a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victory on court No. 5 over Middleton. To clinch the match, No. 107 Marcel Kamrowski battled back from losing the first set 4-6 to win the next two 7-5, 6-4.
