MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee baseball made a strong effort in a comeback, but fell short against SEMO, 11-7, on Tuesday evening.

Middle Tennessee (12-8) fell behind early, 7-0, to the SEMO Redhawks, but never let the deficit get to them.

It took until the fifth inning for MTSU to record a hit, with a Matt Wolfe single, and that opened the gates for the Raider offense. In the sixth inning, Tyler Minnick and Brett Vondohlen hit back-to-back home runs to start the scoring.
