MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Baseball had the go-ahead runners on base in the bottom of the ninth against the LA Tech Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
However, the Blue Raiders ran out of outs and stranded the runners aboard to fall 3-1 in the series' rubber game.
MTSU is now 22-21 overall and 11-10 in Conference USA.
Down 3-0 in the sixth inning, the Raiders got on the board when Eston Snider grounded into a double play with the bases loaded, but not before Jeremiah Boyd scored.
