Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's distance medley relay team claimed gold at the Boston University Last Chance Invitational Friday afternoon, earning them a bid to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The top-16 individuals and top-12 relay teams automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships taking place in two weeks. Kigen Chemadi, Jaquez Torian, Brian Rono and Jacob Choge made up the MT winning team, finishing with a time of 9:32.60, the 12th best mark in the nation.
Chemadi and Choge also find themselves with a bid to the championships in the 5,000-meter, both capturing spots in the top-10.
