MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee safety Reed Blankenship has officially been invited to the 2022 97th East-West Shrine Game. The college all-star event will take place on Feb. 3 in Las Vegas at the brand new Allegiant Stadium and be carried nationally on the NFL Network.
Blankenship was also invited to the game last year but due to COVID the game was not played.
Blankenship, the Blue Raiders' all-time leading tackler, currently leads the team in tackles, fumble recoveries and forced fumbles while ranking third in tackles for loss.
Players will be in Las Vegas for an entire week to work with multiple NFL coaches, train like the pros and meet and learn from numerous NFL Pro Bowl players.
