Blackman's soccer team made the Region 4-AAA championship game with a 4-2 home win over the Tullahoma Wildcats in a fast-paced, high-energy contest on Tuesday night.
Blackman and Oakland will play in a rematch of the district finals as the Patriots beat Franklin County 4-0 Tuesday night. The two teams will play for the region title on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Blackman.
The offense came out firing in the first half for the Blaze, as Chase Farler tried to keep the Wildcats in the game with two goals.
In the opening minutes of the first half, the Blaze put the initial point on the board as midfielder Carson Kennedy kicked in a goal from near midfield that went over the outstretched arms of the Wildcats goalkeeper to make the score 1-0.
