Blackman's offense exploded for the second-straight week, as the Blaze went on the road, routing the Rhea County Golden Eagles 52-21 on Friday night at Bill Horton Field.
The Blaze, who are the No. 2-ranked team in 6A by the Associated Press, have scored 115 points in their first two games, led by a trio of high-profile offensive standouts in Ohio State-commit Master Teague, four-star wide receiver Trey Knox and senior quarterback Connor Mitchell.
"We actually went three-and-out the first series," Blackman coach David Watson said. "It was my fault. I got greedy and did a couple of dumb things.
