SMYRNA --Blackman Middle's football team improved to 3-0 with a 26-0 victory Tuesday night over Rock Springs.
Javon Nelson showcased his talents throughout the game with three receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns on offense and a sack and fumble recovery on defense.
A bobbled snap on the knights' 2-yard line led to a touchdown for the Flames defense, making it a 7-0 game.
The Flames were able to take possession near midfield when Nelson recovered a fumble.
"As we started getting ready and just getting lined up we were acting as a unit," Nelson said.
