The Blackman Blaze remain undefeated and enter their fifth straight TSSAA state tournament by rolling over visiting Bradley Central 69-39 Monday night.
Blaze head coach Barry Wortman has compiled a 141-17 so far in those 5 years.
"I never could have imagined this when I came (to Blackman)," Wortman said. "My goal was just to build a program that everyone could be proud of. "I am awfully proud of this team, the team stands on its own merit. They are hard working and play so much for each other."
Wortman also commented on his team's national recognition.
