MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee earned a big win over Big Ten foe Michigan State to start the season at 1-0, on Friday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
Kicking off the match with doubles, the Blue Raiders earned an early start with a win on court 2 by Blue Raider pair Chris Edge and Tom Moonen. The duo shut out Michigan State's Campbell/Keene, 6-2.
Clinching the doubles point for the Blue Raiders, the No. 48 ranked pair, sophomores Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump battled against Michigan State's number one pair Carlin/Pero and earned the win, 6-2.
