MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — As is the theme for Middle Tennessee's entire roster this season, its infield is loaded with depth.
A lot returns in the infield from MT's shortened 2020 season, and a few newcomers had a good fall season and are hoping to see some innings. The depth should create quite a few different combinations head coach Jim Toman can utilize.
"We have probably seven or eight guys we could start in the infield," he said. "It's going to be a day-to-day thing as far as who plays where, but we feel really good about the entire infield and the depth we have.
