MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Setter Andi Spies was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week announced by the league office on Monday, Sept. 9.
The week was highlighted by Spies' performance in the comeback victory vs. SEMO where she recorded the first triple-double in the 25-point era in the program's history. The Fort Atkinson, Wis. native, tallied 11 kills, 38 assists, 11 digs, and added three service aces. The Blue Raiders pulled off an incredible 0-2 comeback vs. SEMO to pull of their first win of the season, which Spies played an integral part in.
