MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Allan Kiplagat has been awarded the 2024 Conference USA Cross Country Athlete of the Year after a sensational freshman year campaign for the Blue Raiders.
Kiplagat finishes his cross country season with many honors including CUSA Freshman of the Week 3x, CUSA Athlete of the Week, CUSA Athlete of the Year, CUSA Freshman of the Year, All-Region first team, and All-American.
He also finished in 19th place at the NCAA National Championship, to bring home the best finish in MTSU history in the championship race.
